Hi, I’m Ryan Silberstein, the proprietor of this website and blog. I graduated from the University of Delaware in May of 2008 with a BA in Political Science and Economics. I currently reside at home (for the temporary long-term) in always sunny Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (in the Far Northeast section of the city).

My old blog, Jokers to the Right, was a political blog. I started it when I was a freshman at the University, and I felt it was time to retire it as I found myself wanting more and more to discuss things other than politics. Political commentary will be a part of this blog, but not the main attraction. I would still consider myself a conservative, albeit with both libertarian and “crunchy” tendencies (that’s about as accurate as even I can describe it, kids!), and suffice it to say that I have recently found politics, particularly this election cycle to be disheartening, and thus I’m just really tired of talking about it.

This blog is mine and and therefore will just feature whatever I’m interesting in writing about/discussing. Generally, this will revolve around pop culture, specifically music, movies, comic books, and perhaps video games, in addition to the news and other points of interest.

I guess most of the above is really about this blog, and not about me, so I’ll share some of my likes:
